California is the tree that keeps on giving.
The biggest gift is San Fransisco, ofcourse.
Very close to San Fran, though, expands a little surprise by the name of Sausalito.
Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this little village exudes calmness and a sense of joy (it also reminds me, a little bit, of a coast in Greece!)

To get there you can :
- rent a car and drive through the Goden Gate bridge
- bicycle and experience the natural beauty of the entire ride
- walk there (!) . From the city of San Fran it will take you about 2,5 hours.
- My favourite way though , is by taking the Ferry. Head to the Ferry building in Embarcadero right after Pier 1 , purchase your ticket from the ticket machines and enjoy the 30 minuites ride. You are allowed to take your bike on the ferry as well.
Must See:
- The houses build on the cliffs and those build on the beach.
- The "forest" of sailing boat masts ( κατάρτια ) next to the pier.
- The Angel island (ex immigration Station ,that opened in 1775, where immigrants entering the US , were detained and intettogated.)
Must Eat :
- At "Gourmet Delicatessen" , on Caledonia st. It is the best place for a good quality sandwich and homemade desserts. It is also owned by a greek familly!
We are everywhere!!! MmmHAHAHA ..(evil laugh)
- The sun, sitting on the big rocks on the coast
